Nasarawa Utd unveils new Technical Adviser ahead of 2025/2026 NPFL

The Management of Nasarawa United Football Club has unveiled Mangut Ayuba as the new Technical Adviser of the team ahead of the 2025/2026 Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony on Wednesday in Lafia, Solomon Babanja, Chairman, Nasarawa Utd FC, said that the appointment followed the exit of the former Technical Adviser, Salisu Yusuf, after the 2024/2025 season.

Babanja described Ayuba as a well-experienced coach and currently one of the best in the country.

“Many people indicated interest in replacing the former adviser, but the team chose Ayuba because of his philosophy and wealth of experience in the league,” the chairman said.

Responding, the new technical adviser expressed gratitude to the Nasarawa State Government and the management of the club for the confidence they have reposed in him.

“We will fortify and strengthen the club in every department to enable us win the league and compete at the continental level,” he said

Ayuba, however, appealed to the management to ensure the prompt payments of entitlements of players and the technical crew, to motivate them to win every game.

Also speaking, Mr Yakubu Kwanta, Nasarawa Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, congratulated the technical Adviser and assured him of the maximum support from the government to succeed.

The Commissioner further assured the new gaffer that the government would not interfere with his assignment in any way.

The highlights of the event include the signing of the contract, which had in attendance, Nasarawa State Chairman of Football Association, Salisu Galadima, board members of the club, among others.
