Neptune Prime Publisher Builds School, Clinic in Yobe
Dr Hassan Gimba, the Publisher of Neptune Prime Newspaper, has constructed and commissioned a Nursery, Primary, and Secondary School named after his late mother, Hafsatu Gimba Ahmed, in Potiskum Local Government Area of Yobe State.
The Publisher constructed and equipped the first Cervical Cancer center in the town, intending to commission the center at an appropriate time for the community’s benefit.
The Foundation of the Veteran journalist, in collaboration with the Yobe State Science and Technical Schools Board, has trained youths in his community in tailoring and plumbing to reduce unemployment.
Speaking to newsmen, the publisher said the school which was furnished with learning materials and computers named Hafsatu Gimba Ahmed Memorial School at Unguwar Jaji, is dedicated to the memory of his late mother.

He said the construction of the school was meant to serve the educational needs of his community and Yobe State in general, saying the school comprises Nursery, Primary and Secondary School.
Commenting on the Cancer Outreach and Clinic, Gimba said the Clinic was named in memory of his late wife, Lami Fatima Babare.
He said the center would provide medical services for health challenges and treatment to cervical cancer patients in the community.
In his remark, the Emir of Fika, Alhaji Dr Muhammadu Abali Ibn Muhammadu Idrissa, represented by Shattima of Fika, Alhaji Bukar Abubakar, thanked the Publisher for investing heavily in his community.
