A new era for Nigeria’s telecommunications sector has begun as the recently constituted Board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) held its first induction retreat.
In Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Board Chairman Chief Idris Olorunnimbe led a strategic session with Board members and the NCC Management team, solidifying the Commission’s commitment to propelling Nigeria’s digital economy forward.
The intensive program included expert-led deliberations on crucial aspects of governance and regulation. Participants delved into the intricacies of the Nigerian Communications Act, corporate governance principles, and the adoption of global regulatory best practices.
