New Year: Zamfara Eze Igbo urges prayers for Nigeria.
The Eze Igbo of Zamfara State, Chief Egbuna Obijiaku has called on Igbo community in the state to use new year period and pray for peace and stability in the country.
Obijiaku made the call in a New Year message issued to journalists in Gusau on Friday.
“I urge the Igbo community in the state and the entire Nigerians to use the 2021 period and offer special prayers for the nation.
“Prayers to God is the final solution to any problem, let us pray for our mother country to overcome security and economic challenges.
“Let us seek for God’s intervention against security challenges facing the country especially banditry, kidnapping and insurgency,’’ he said.
According to him, “all Nigerians, irrespective of our differences, should embark on prayers to God to guide our leaders to the right direction.’’
Obijiaku also called on Nigerian leaders at all levels to focus promoting economic development for the future sustainability of the country.
He urged leaders to give emphasis on training of youths on employment opportunities for future development.
“I also call on our youths to embrace entrepreneurship business to avoid over dependency on government,’’ Obijiaku explained.
