The Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi has suffered another defeat from ElKanemi Warriors in Maiduguri 2-0 at the ongoing
2023/24 Nigeria National League NNL on Saturday.
The match day thirteen for Wikki Tourists saw Elkanemi Warriors scoring the two second half goals to brighten their chance of qualifying for the super eight.
At the first half it ended 0-0 where the two sides played their hearts out for the maximum points at stake.
Few instances of infringements by the two sides were awarded by the referee but the players failed to get it right resulting in fruitless efforts.
On resumption into the second half ElKanemi Warriors got the better side of the game and recorded two goals till the final whistle maintaining their lead of the Conference C table.
At post match interview the Technical Adviser of Wikki Tourists FC Mohammed Azeez, describe the result as bad to his side
He said that all hope is not lost in the quest to return to the Nigeria Elite Division League even as he agreed the task is very difficult.
‘It is not yet over until it’s over though a lot of work needs to be done to ensure that we grab the 6 remaining points and wait to see what happens next,he declared.
Azeez seeks the support, prayer and understanding of whoever is concerned with the team to succeed.

Behind Elkanemi and Nasarawa and will have two more matches to play before the league ends to produce two teams from the group that will qualify for the nnl24 Super eight (8) later in the year.
