NYSC deployes 1800 corps members in Zamfara, says Coordinator
The National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) has deployed a total of 1800 corps members to Zamfara State under 2021 Batch B, Stream 1 of the programme.
The State Coordinator of the Scheme, Namalam Muhammad Taura disclosed this on Monday during the swearing-in ceremony of the corps members at the permanent orientation camp in Tsafe town, Tsafe local governments area of the state.
“On behalf of the NYSC DG Brig. Gen. Shua’ibu Ibrahim, I congratulate you on your successful completion of your academic endeavors from your various institutions of higher learning.

“My dear compatriots, your call to the National Service is an opportunity given to you by Nigerians through the scheme to contribute your own quota towards making this nation great.
“It is therefore my hope that you will brace up to this challenges and do your upmost best in Zamfara”, Taura said.
“As one of the cardinal programmes of NYSC has designed the orientation course as a platform for physical and mental training of the youths to consciously enable them to face the challenges of the service year and beyond.
“The law guiding your conduct in the camp were carefully enacted to regulate your activities in all aspects.
“I urge you to be law abiding and live up to the motto of NYSC”, he explained.
He also urged the corps members to participate in all the activities of the orientation and make judicious utilisation of camp facilities.
The coordinator commended Zamfara state government and entire people of the state for their understanding, support and cooperation to the NYSC operations in the state.
He also thanked camp officials, security agencies and all other stakeholders who have been supporting the scheme in the state.
The oath of allegiance was administered to the corps members by the representatives of the state Chief Judge, Magistrate, Lubabatu Kanoma.
