The death toll from a bomb attack of an army base in Pakistan has risen to 34.
The number includes five soldiers, the military said in a statement on Wednesday.

The military said that the attack was “foiled by a vigilant and resolute response,” from the troops.
Another 32 civilians were wounded by multiple suicide blasts and gunfire.
On Tuesday, terrorists stormed the military base in the Bannu District of the north-western province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The attack came after sunset, when Muslims break Ramadan fast.
A group affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
