Phase 1: 1000 Units Gov. Fintiri Housing Units Update
After almost a decade, Civil Servants in Adamawa State will now have a breath of fresh air as modalities have been set for the commencement of the construction of the first phase of a 1000 housing estate at Malkohi, greater Yola.
It could be recalled that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri had flagged off the construction of a 2000 housing estate but the construction couldn’t commence because farmers using the lands were allowed to harvest their crops.
The construction of the first phase of the construction of the 1000 houses will consist of 650 2-bedroom flat and 250 3-bedroom flat is expected to be completed in 6 month’s time.
On the 2nd phase of the construction, the construction of the 2nd phase will commence after the completion of the 1st phase and will be spread across some selected areas around the state.
The construction of the houses is in line with the present administrations commitment to bridging the housing deficit in the state.
