PHILANTHROPIST DONATES 12 CARS, 20 MOTORCYCLES TO YOUTHS IN ZAMFARA

A reknown Philanthropist in Zamfara State, Yazid Shehu Umar Danfulani has distributed 12 cars, 20 motorcycles worth 51 million naira free to youths associations and individuals in the state.

Presenting the items to the beneficieries at Command Guest House Gusau, Danfulani said the gesture in inline with his programmes to empower youths.

“This gesture is to complement the policy of present administration led  Governor Bello Matawalle of youths empowerment in the state.

“the beneficieries were selected based on their contributions to my various programmes and activities through my foundations, Yazid Trust Fund and Yazid Care Foundation in supporting the humanity.

“Apart from youths empowerment programmes, we also donated truck and workers for sanitation and clearing of water ways in Gusau metropolis and other parts the state”, Yazid Danfulani said.

Speaking on his recent screening and confirmation by the state house of assembly as Commissioner, Danfulani promised to work for the development of the state.

“I extend my appreciation to his Excellency Governor Bello Matawalle for choosing me out of millions of Zamfara citizens to serve the state as a member of the state executive council”, he said.

He described the recent defection of Matawalle to APC as a welcome development, saying that it will promote peace and unity in the state.

One of the beneficieries, Ishaq Idris commended Yazid Danfulani for the gesture and promised to utilize the vehicles and motorcycles given to them judiciously.

“We are happy with this historic day, we are going to continue to support him to improve the lives of vulnerable groups in the he society.
