President Tinubu Expresses Condolences to Ali Modu Sheriff on Mother’s Passing

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, former Governor of Borno State, following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Aisa.

Hajiya Aisha, aged 93, passed away in Abuja on Sunday after a long illness. She will be laid to rest today at the family residence of the late Galadima Modu Sheriff on Damboa Road in Maiduguri, Borno State.

In a statement released by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, President Tinubu extended his sympathies to the Modu Sheriff family. He urged them to find solace in the fact that Hajiya Aisha led an exemplary life marked by strong virtues.

President Tinubu also prayed for Allah to grant her Aljannah Firdausi and provide comfort to her grieving family.
