RAMADAN: EMIR OF GUSAU URGES FOR PRAYERS TO END INSECURITY
The Emir of Gusau, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello, has called on Muslims to use the holy month of Ramadan to pray against security challenges bedeviling the state and country in general.
The Emir’s message was announced by Sheikh Abdullahi Dalla Dalla, after Jumu’at congregation, at Sambo Dan-Ashafa Jumu’at Mosque in Gusau on Friday.
“We are directed by the Emir of Gusau, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello, to call on Muslims in the state to use the last 10 days of Ramadan, to pray for Allah’s intervention against security challenges facing the state.”

Dalla Dalla described the recent attacks on some communities by bandits in the state, as unfortunate especially, in the holy month of Ramadan.
“You know in the last days of the holy month, Almighty Allah accept our prayers more, therefore let us embark on frequent worships to Allah.
“We should seek for his mercy to overcome security challenges affecting our dear state and Nigeria in general.
“We also commend new measures taken by the state government against insecurity, which led to the arrest of various suspects, who were supporting banditry activities in the state, “he said.
Earlier, Imam Rilwanu Tanko, who led the Jumu’at prayer called on the state government and well-meaning individuals to help the needy, stressing that people of the state are facing serious economic hardship.
