By Yusuf Bukar Biriri.

With the commencement of this year’s Ramadan fast, Yobe’s popular politician, Kashim Musa Tumsah, has set up feeding points in some selected areas across the state.

The feeding points have been strategically situated in all three Senatorial zones of the state, with those of Yobe East Zone ‘A’ in Damaturu, Gujba, Gaidam and Dapchi respectively.

While in the Yobe South senatorial district, situated in Potiskum, Fika and Nangere, Gashua and Nguru serve as the feeding centres for the people in the Yobe North senatorial district.

The well-known politician who is now a household name as KMT in Yobe,  set up mobile feeding by transporting meals and water in takeaway packs and shares to hundreds of vulnerable people to break their fasts decently.

This is in addition to the distribution of thousands of bags of rice, beans, sugar, and cartons of spaghetti and other condiments in phases to individuals, groups and associations, marking the commencement of the Ramadan fast.

KMT, who has since been persuaded by his growing admirers to join the governorship race in the state in the forthcoming 2027 election, has been assisting communities in various fields spanning over two decades.

The iftar feeding initiative is part of efforts to complement Buni’s administration in reaching out to the less privileged in the holy month of Ramadan

Kashim Musa Tumsa’s  interventions cover all sectors ,including healthcare, education, agriculture, skills acquisition, provision of solar-powered boreholes , Street llights, and rural feeder roads to boost commerce and economic growth among benefiting communities.
