…Calls for Review Intensify

A shocking revelation has rocked the Nigeria Police Force, as the recently released list of successful candidates in the 2022/23 Police Constables Recruitment Exercise has been tainted with allegations of corruption and irregularities.

The Police Force in a statement by its Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejoni, has dissociated itself from the list, citing numerous complaints and discrepancies.

An investigation revealed that, unqualified individuals who didn’t apply or participate in the exercise made the list. Failed candidates and those disqualified due to medical unfitness were included. Financial dealings and corrupt practices investigation revealed, influenced the outcome.

The Inspector General of Police has objected to the list, calling for a transparent and credible review. The Police Service Commission’s recruitment process has been questioned, and the Nigeria Police Force demands a thorough overhaul to ensure competent and qualified candidates are recruited.

This development has sparked outrage, and the Police Force reassures prospective recruits that their plights are acknowledged, and a fruitful review process is imminent.

The Force Olumuyiwa said, remains committed to upholding the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration on police reform.
