Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Akogun Lere Oyewumi, along with Minority Leader Senator Abba Moro, led a Senate delegation to offer condolences to former Senate President Bukola Saraki following the passing of his mother, Mrs. Florence Saraki.
The visit was characterized by a profound sense of loss and respect for Mrs. Florence Saraki, whose life and legacy have left a lasting impact. The delegation included notable figures such as Senator Abdul Ningi, Senator Ned Nwoko, Senator Benson Agadaga, Senator Binos Yaro, Senator Ekong Sampson, and former PDP National Organizing Secretary Austin Akobondu.
During the visit, Senator Abba Moro expressed the delegation’s deepest sympathies to the Saraki family, acknowledging the significant influence Mrs. Saraki had on her family, the community, and the broader society. He prayed for the repose of Mrs. Saraki’s soul and for God’s support for the family in their time of grief.
