The Sultan of Sokoto Muhammed Abubakar III and Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State will on Friday inaugurate the ultra-modern central mosque and Islamic center in Bauchi.
Our correspondent reports that the ultra-modern Friday Mosque consists of a lecturer hall, Islamiyya School, Imam Residence and Rauda with state of the art facilities to be named Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi Integrated Islamic center.
The newly built ultra-modern mosque and the Islamic center was erected by Wunti Al Khair Foundation to the Muslim community.
Mr Abdulrazak Wunti, Project Manager while interacting with newsmen on Wednesday in Bauchi, said the project comprises Mosque, conference hall, resident and Rauda.
He said the mosque has the capacity to contain 7000 Muslims for prayers.
“With 3500 inside the mosque and 3500 outside the premises of the mosque,
“The Islamiyya section consists of 18 classes, two conference halls ,two libraries, and two computer laboratories,” Wunti said.
Also Speaking, Rabiu Wunti Project Supervisor said the center is 98 percent completed ready for the commissioning.
“All preparations are completed for the inauguration of the Islamic center for the people of Bauchi,” he said
He urged the public to follow rules put in place during the inauguration of the edifice to ensure hitch free commissioning of the Islamic center.
Speaking on behalf of Sheik Dahiru Bauchi Foundation, Imam Tijjani Dahiru appreciated the foundation for initiating this magnificent Islamic center.
“It the edifice beat our imagination we thought it was only a mosque, but it turns to be a center with Islamiyya, conference hall ,residents among others with state of the art facilities,” he said
