Tambuwal  Serving Commissioner Defect To APC

Barely less than twenty four hours after the defection of Tangaza Local Government Council Chairman Hon. Salihu Bashar Kalanjine, a serving Commissioner for Careers and Security Matters in Tambuwal’s Government, Colonel Garba Moyi Isa Retd  has defected from the people’s Democratic party, (PDP ) to the All Progressives Congress, (APC).

Moyi Said he decided to dumped PDP  as Tambuwal’s administration lacked trust and focused to governed effeciently. 

Moyi further explained that with the quality leadership of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko he decided to join him build the party to enable it reclaim its mandate come 2023. 

He later announced his resignation as a member of the ruling PDP and also state Executive council  in charge of the Ministry of careers and security matters .

Receiving the Decampee at his residence, APC leader in the state senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko charged  him to work hard to ensure the victory of APC in Sokoto East Senatorial District and the state at large during the forthcoming 2023 General elections.

Col. Moyi was accompanied during the formal declaration for APC at Gawon Nama Sokoto,  residence of senator Wamakko by the Deputy Gubernatorial candidate Idris Muhammad Gobir, APC Senatorial candidate Ibrahim Lamido Isa and APC House of Representatives Candidate Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga as well as APC chairman of Sabon Birni local government area Alhaji Yawale Sarkin Baki..
