Tambuwal Urges Corps Members To Maximise SAED Training
Pledges enhance welfare

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has urged the 2022 Batch B stream 1 corps members posted to the state to take advantage of the free skill.aquisition training in the camp.
Tambuwal stated this on Monday during the swear in of Batch B Stream 1 corps members deployed to the state at Wamakko permanent orientation camp.

He further explained that with the dearth of employment opportunities in the country ” NYSC in it wisdom introduced the skill aquisition and entrepreneurship department (SAED ) into the orientation course content”.

Tambuwal also pledged enhanced welfare for the corps members stressing that the scheme has over the years played a vital role in enhancing national integration , social , cultural and physical development of the country and enjoined the corps members to sustain the tempo.
“At this critical time I enjoin you to be vanguard of promoting national unity in line with the fundamental objectives of the scheme he stated.
The Governor promised to prioritize their security and welfare irrespective of any part of the state they are posted to.
” You know the security challenges in the country now but I assure you that your security is guaranteed here in Sokoto State”.
Earlier the state Coordinator Muhammad Nakamba urged the corps members to be disciplined saying camp life is not an easy one but regimental.
He stated that NYSC would reward a dedicated corps members at the end of their service year stressed that if they want to be a beneficiary they can start from the camp
The chief judge of the state Justice Muhammad Sai’du Sifawa represented by the chief magistrate Maryam Muhammad Sifawa administered an oath to the 1467 corps members comprising 707 males and 760 females
