The TETFund TETFund Alliance for Innovative Research (TETFAIR) wrapped up its inaugural edition on December 7th, 2023.

This year-long program, initiated by TETFund in collaboration with Innov8 Hub, empowers academics from across various tertiary institutions to transform their research into tangible innovations, solutions, and businesses.

The culminating TETFAIR Showcase Event brought together distinguished guests, dignitaries, and stakeholders from the government, academia, and industry. Among these distinguished individuals were the Honorable Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, Executive Secretary of TETFund, Arc. Sonny Echono, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Rt. Hon. Simon B. Lalong, and prominent members of the National Assembly.

The driving force behind this initiative is TETFund, under the visionary leadership of Executive Secretary, Arc. Sonny S.T Echono. Thanks to the foresight of the fund, academics can now effectively connect theoretical concepts with innovative practices. This catalytic process has the potential to traverse the journey from ideation to venture creation, ultimately fostering a culture of enterprising success.

The Executive Secretary of TETFund, Architect Sonny Echono, led a delegation of TETFund officials to Innov8 Hub. The purpose of the tour was to inspect projects being developed at the ongoing TETFAIR Prototype Development Bootcamp.
