Security forces have thwarted a potential terrorist attack in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State, ensuring a peaceful Eid-El-Kabir celebration for residents.
Troops on special patrols intercepted a terrorist, Daushe, a cohort of the notorious Buharin Yadi, who was neutralized by troops in a recent encounter. The terrorist was spotted speeding off on a motorbike, attempting to evade the approaching patrol.
After a swift pursuit, the troops neutralized the terrorist and recovered an abandoned motorbike, two bags containing corn flour, and a mobile phone.
Intelligence operatives confirmed the terrorist’s identity and the troops’ swift action prevented a potential threat to the community.
