We have hitch free revalidation, registration exercise – says APC in Kebbi
The All progressives Congress (APC), in Kebbi, says it has so far recorded hitch – free in the ongoing revalidation and registration exercise across the 21 local government areas of the state.
The Spokesman for the State Caretaker Committee of the party in the state, Alhaji Sani Dododo, stated this while speaking with newsmen on the ongoing party exercise in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.

He said that the party had taken all the necessary arrangements to ensure credible exercise of the party’s members.
“In Kebbi state, we have 2,398 polling units and we are trying not to contravene the COVID-19 guidelines.
“That is why we decided to decentralise the exercise as we have now finished the compiling the lists of the supervising officers, local government supervisors, wards supervisors and returning officers.
“So, the local government supervisors and ward supervisors and returning officers have started arriving the state capital for training.
“We have now conducted the training for the local and wards supervisors.
“We have 225 wards in the state and if you take two people per ward, plus two from each local governments, that is about 400 plus. We are going to seat down with them and train them.
“We are carrying all the stakeholders along; all the major stakeholders that matter in the exercise are being carry along,” he said.
Dododo also noted that the party had created time for the registration of the major stakeholders of the party.
“We have devised ways to register or revalidate of major stakeholders as the governor, minister, senators, members of house of representatives, state assembly members, among others without any body being disenfranchised in the exercise,” he said.
According to him, most of the challenges the exercise has encountered are man- made, and have since been addressed peacefully.
Dododo said that the exercise had made it impossible for politicians to take one local government’s forms to another or another polling unit’s form to another.
“We have started the registration of 100 people per polling units; it will be a continuous process.
“We have unresolved issues as Gov. Atiku Bagudu was elected under the platform of APC; all our senators, members house of representatives, 24 house of assembly members, 5,224 councillors were all elected under under APC platform.
“So, Kebbi state is APC state, and we are not expecting problem, because we know ourselves, we are brothers and sisters; we have no problem in the state,” the party spokesman said.
