WPRF Abuja 2026: Avenue to celebrate Africa’s creativity, diversity, hospitality -Green
Prof. Justin Green, President, Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, says Nigeria hosting the 2026 World Public Relations Forum (WPRF), is an avenue to celebrate Africa’s creativity and hospitality.
Green said this in his virtual address at the WPRF tagged ”Abuja 2026” National Unveiling in Abuja.
The event with the theme, “Responsible Communication: The Voice of the World” is organised by Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication.
Represented by the Vice President, Silvia Arto, Green said the event would be historical and an avenue to celebrate Africa’s creativity, diversity and hospitality.
“The WPRF for the first time is coming to Africa, Abuja in Nigeria. This is historical and will highlight Africa’s global influence, and communication that celebrates the continent’s creativity, diversity and hospitality.
“The forum which is done in partnership with the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) shows the effectiveness and power of collaboration. We are confidence that Nigeria will deliver.
“The world will come to Abuja to explore how communication can drive positive and responsible leadership and inclusive communities beyond the professional boundary.
“It will also showcase Nigeria’s rich culture and innovation and what will make it a truly an unforgettable experience,” Green said.
He urged communicators from across the world to join the forum in Abuja to witness the historic and inspiring moments in 2026.
He also has expressed delight, optimism and confidence on the ability of Nigeria to host the WPRF Abuja 2026 successfully.

“See you in Abuja in 2026,” he added.
Also speaking, the President of African Public Relations Association, Mr Arik Karani who spoke via zoom from Nairobi, Kenya said the 2026 forum was about responsible communication.
“We do not only exchange ideas but come together to affirm the power of communication in shaping the future of the world.
“For us, responsible communication is about communicating with clarity, accountability and empathy. As we do this, we should focus on accuracy, respect and the impact our words have on others.
“As we prepare to host the forum in Nigeria, note that each and every one of you carries a story. So let us tell them with clarity, conviction and responsibly,” Karani said.
