Yari’s NGO offers free medical services, cash to IDPs
A Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), “Say Yes to Shehi for positive change”, on Wednesday offered free medical services and cash to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Talata Mafara LG, Zamfara.
The NGO is being funded by former Zamfara State Governor, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar to provide humanitarian services to vulnerable groups in the society.
Hundreds of IDPs including women and children displaced by the bandits attacks are beneficiaries of the gesture.
Speaking at the flag off exercise at Asarara community in Talata Mafara local government area on Wednesday, the Chairman of the organization, Alhaji Mu’azu Dangaladima said the gesture is part of the efforts of Yari’s NGO to support vulnerable groups in the State.

Dangaladima said: “the organization consider it necessary to support the vulnerable people, especially the IDPs and other victims of armed banditry.
“We deployed medical facilities, personnel and facilities especially for Malaria treatments considering it as one common deceases affecting people especially in rural areas.
“The gesture is one of the lined up programmes initiated by the organization which includes, health care services, provision of food stuff and shelter for the most vulnerable people as part of its social corporate responsibility,”Dangaladima said.
He charged the beneficiaries to pray for the former governor Abdul’aziz Yari to succeed in his ambition to contest for APC National Chairmanship Position in party’s forth coming convention.
During the event, Malaria drugs, Mosquito nets and cash were offered to hundreds of beneficiaries.
