Yobe flood: Senator Bomai donates N2m relief materials to victims
The Senator representing Yobe South Senatorial District, Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, Sunday donated the sum of N20 million as well as relief materials to victims of the recent flood disaster at Potiskum and Nangere local government area of Yobe state.
Senator Bomai presented the donation through his representatives led by Alhaji Idi Jugu-Jugu when they visited the flood affected communities in Potiskum and Nangere to commiserate with the victims.
The relief materials includes;1,000 blanket ,1,000 children’s wear, and 1,000 wrappers.

While presenting the items to the flood victims, Bomai said more are coming from the federal government to assist the flood victims.
This support, according the senator, will undoubtedly complement the state government’s effort in bringing immense relief to those affected by the flood disaster in the communities.
The flood affected communities includes; Nangere ward, Chikuriwa, Dogo Nini, Yerimaram and Bare-bare respectively.
