Yobe health sector harmonises 2025 Annual Operational Plan
Dr Babagana Kundi-Machina, the Executive Secretary, Yobe State Primary Healthcare Board,
has underscored the importance of harmonising the state’s health sector Annual Operational Plan (AOP) for 2025.
Kundi-Machina made the emphasis during a five-day workshop on Harmonisation of Yobe State Health Sector 2025 MDA
Level Annual Operational Plan (AOP) on Tuesday, taking place in Kano.
He explained that the workshop is to identify key priorities for the sector in 2025 and develop strategies to improve healthcare delivery in the state.
He added that “this is the culmination of efforts that started earlier, where all agencies in the state were mandated to go and look inwards.

“The workshop aligns with Federal Government’s strategic blueprint for the health sector, ensuring that Yobe State’s priorities are in line with
national objectives.”
The executive secretary urged participants to actively contribute to the workshop, emphasising the importance of the input for the state’s healthcare system.
In his remarks, Mr Isa Bukar, the Permanent Secretary in the Yobe Ministry of Health, highlighted the significance of the AOP in preventing overlaps
among agencies and partners during project execution.
Bukar expressed optimism about the outcome of the workshop.
