Yobe pilgrims commission releases reversed 2026 Hajj fare and fixed payment dateline.

Yobe State Pilgrims commission has announced N7,579,020.96k as the Reversed Hajj Fare for the 2026 Hajj exercise and 5th December, 2025 as the deadline for all intending pilgrims to complete their payments.
A statement issued by the Executive Chairman Alhaji Mai Aliyu Usman today in Damaturu, Mai Aliyu, confirmed the reduction in the 2026 Hajj fare.
In line with the announcement made by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) after a review of the fares, as directed by the Presidency. Recall that the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, through the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, directed NAHCON to reduce the Hajj fare to reflect the current realities in dollar exchange rates. In response, NAHCON reviewed the fares downward from N8,118,033.67k to N7,579,020.96k for Yobe and other States in the Northern Maiduguri zone.
He disclosed that the new initial rate of 2025 hajj fare applies to all intending pilgrims from Yobe as approved amount of N7,579,020.96k
Mai Aliyu Usman emphasized the need for prompt and complete payment, saying that the new policies of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which prioritises early planning, documentation and visa processing, makes strict adherence to the December 5th deadline,

He urged intending pilgrims that have made part-payment to immediately pay the balance while those that had paid above N7,579,020.96k are assured of their refund after necessary reconciliation by the Accounts department,
He called on all intending pilgrims to ensure that they complete their payments before the deadline in order to secure their hajj slot make any payment before the new deadline of December 5th, 2025 as directed by NAHCON.
Mai Aliyu appreciated the State Government and stakeholders for their support and contributions so far, while reaffirming the commission’s commitment to delivering a seamless, transparent and spiritually enriching Hajj experience for the State.
