ZAMFARA APC PROCURES OVER 50 TRUCKS OF FERTILIZER FOR FARMERS
The Zamfara state chapter of All Progressive Congress (APC) has procured over 50 trucks of fertilizer to be distributed to farmers in the state.
The Acting APC Chairman in the state, Alhaji Lawal Liman disclosed this at the party’s stakeholders meeting in Gusau on Thursday.
Liman said that the fertilizer was procured by the APC leader and former governor of the state, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari to support farmers to participate in the 2021 wet season farming.

“Our leader initiated this gesture through the party leadership to support farmers in the state especially the APC members.
“You know, Zamfara our logo “farming is our pride” because of the potentialities of arable land and fertile soil.
“We learned that farmers are not getting enough support like during the previous APC leadership in the state,’’ Liman said.
Liman said the fertilizer would be distributed at the 147 wards of the 14 local government area of the state.
He called on the distribution committees at wards and local government areas to ensure justice, fairness and that the commodity reached the targeted beneficiaries.
He commended the former governor for his support to the party members and people of the state.
