ZAMFARA ASSEMBLY CONFIRMS SIX COMMISSIONERS NOMINEES SENT TO IT BY GOV MATAWALLE
The Zamfara State House of Assembly on Tuesday confirmed the six commissioner nominees forwarded to it by Governor Bello Matawalle.
The nominees were, Alhaji Ibrahim Dosara, Sufyanu Yuguda, Yazeed Danfulani, Abubakar Dambo, Rabi’u Garba and Aminu Jinaidu.
The nominees were screened and confirmed by the assembly at a plenary chaired by the deputy speaker of the house, Musa Bawa who read the letter containing the names of the nominees dated 17 June, 2021 forwarded to the house by Gov Bello Matawalle.

Earlier, the Majority Leader of the house, Faruku Dosara who moved the motion for the screening and confirmation of the nominees urged members of the house to consider the screening of the nominees.
Dosara noted that majority of the nominees were screened by the house not long time ago.
“Therefore we don’t need to waste time on this process, considering that majority of them worked for the state in different capacities”, Majority leader said
After various deliberations by the nominees, the Deputy Speaker Bawa Musa said the assembly has satisfied with the various presentations by the nominees.
He said members of the house unanimously agree to confirm the nominees, “the nominees are here by confirmed by the house as commissioners”.
