Zamfara govt delegation attend funeral prayers of attack victims in Zurmi LGA
The Zamfara State Government delegation led by Speaker of the state house of assembly, Alhaji Nasiru Magarya attended funeral prayers of over 50 person killed by unknown gunmen in Kadawa community of Zurmi Local Government Area of the state.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that the unknown gunmen had last Thursday attacked some communities in Kadawa ward of Zurmi LGA, killing of over 50 persons.
According to statement, the Speaker Zamfara state house of assembly Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya has yesterday friday led a powerful state government delegation to Kadawa village in Kanwa ward of Zurmi local government to condoled with people of the area over the recent bandictry attacks on that community.

“Magarya has also personally participated in the funeral prayers of the slained victims of the attack.
“We are in Kadawa village at the instance of the state governor Bello Matawalle whom upon hearing the despicable act by terrorists who unleashed terror on the innocent people of the area became terribly worried and send a high-powered delegation led by myself to sympathised with the you.
“We will ensure that all the culprits of this attack are fish out in order to face the full wrath of the law”, Magarya explained.
The Speaker while praying for the repose of the souls of those that lost their lives in this carnage, also inform the gathering that state government under the leadership of Matawalle will not take it lightly with whosoever found to be involved or having any romance with bandits no matter how highly placed.
He said government has directed the deployment of more security agencies to comb the area with the aim of arresting the bandits and their collaborators and also to ensure the security and safety of that area.
He also announced the donation of a trailer load of food items, clothing materials and medicaments to the families of the deceased as well as those that injured in the senseless attack.
The Speaker was accompanied by heads of security agencies in the state and other top governments officials.
