ZAMFARA NEW HEAD OF SERVICE TASKS CIVIL SERVANTS ON SERVICE DELIVERY
Malam Kabiru Muhammad Gayari took over as new Zamfara Head of Service.
Gayari who was the Permanent Secretary in the state Ministry of Finance, has been appointed as Head of Service of the state following the appointment of the former Head of Service, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe, as the new Secretary to the State Government.
He was the longest serving permanent secretary in the state before his latest appointment.
Upon assumption of office on Friday in Gusau, Muhammad called on civil servants to be committed to their duties for better service delivery.

He applauded civil servants for their commitment and dedication to duty and pledged to do more to promote the condition of service.
“I believe promoting the condition of service for civil servants will promote the livelihood of public labour force and the entire people of the state,’’ he said.
He called on the civil servants to give him similar or more support and cooperation accorded to his predecessors for him to succeed.
“Let us all put our hands on deck; contribute our quota and continue praying for divine intervention to avert the calamities of banditry and other social ills bedevilling our progress as a state,’’ Muhammad said.
He assured Gov. Bello Matawalle of doing everything humanly possible to justify the confidence reposed in him.
Handing over the reins of office to the new appointee, Permanent Secretary in the office of the Head of Service, Alhaji Yusuf Bakura, assured him of support and cooperation of all civil servants.
Bakura pledged to work hand-in-hand with all stakeholders for better service delivery in Zamfara.
The event was attended by the Permanent Secretary Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) Alhaji Garba Muhammad Gusau, a Medical Consultant Dr. Aminu (Walin Gummi), Coordinator SOCU in the state, Alhaji Hamza Salihu and Chairman Gayari Development Association Alhaji Bala Aliyu Gayari among others.
