ZAMFARA PDP WOMEN LEADER, MADINA SHEHU JOINS APC
Hajiya Madina Shehu, Zamfara State Women Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hajiya Madina Shehu announced her defection in Gusau government after her meeting with Governor Bello Muhammed Matawalle.
Madina said “I left PDP due to lack of leadership style and internal democracy”
“I am announcing my defection to the APC together with women leaders of the PDP in the 14 local government areas of the state,’’ she said.

Responding, Governor Matawalle described her defection as a welcome development for the APC in the state.
“This is a just a pointer of APC victory in the post coming 2023 general elections in the state and Nigeria in general.
“More defectors are coming to APC from PDP; very soon shall receive many PDP members including their leaders,’’ the governor added.
