ZAMFARA SPECIAL ADVISER ON SECURITY EMPOWERS 100 WOMEN
Alhaji Abubakar Justice, Special Adviser to Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara on security matters and home affairs has empowered 100 women from Dauran town in Zurmi local government area.
Justice called on the beneficiaries to ensure that they obtain their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) for them to exercise their constitutional rights during the election.
A total of 100 beneficiaries of the gesture comprising small scale businesses and less-privileged women from the area received the assistance.

The beneficieries were given cash and raw materials to support their businesses.
Speaking at the event in Dauran town, Justice said that the gesture was part of his initiatives to support vulnerable groups and other categories of the less-privileged in the society.
“We are supporting them with cash and grains comprising soya beans, millet, rice and beans.
“This is aimed at complementing state government’s poverty reduction programme under Gov Bello Matawalle’s administration.

“I am calling on you to mobilize people from your respective communities especially those who are yet to obtain their PVCs to do so,” he said.

The Special Adviser urged the women in the area to vote for all APC candidates in the 2023 general elections.
According to him, the APC if elected would give priority to women empowerment so as to give women opportunities to build themselves for the future.
