2027: Dike, APGA Rep. candidate in Anambra hails constituents for victory
Chief Vin Dike, rep. candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for Ekwusigo/Nnewi North/Nnewi South Federal Constituency in Anambra for 2027 election has appreciated his people for the confidence in his election.
Dike said this while speaking to journalists in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area on Tuesday after his emergency as APGA candidate at the party’s primary.
He used the medium to call on those who contested the ticket and lost to join forces with him to achieve victory for the party during the general elections.
He said if elected into the National Assembly, he would align his legislative interventions with the policies and programmes of Anambra government to improve the lots of his people.
Dike also said he would be a strong and effective voice for the people of Ekwusigo/Nnewi North/Nnewi South Federal Constituency and ensure they got what was duly theirs without challenges.
He said APGA was well entrenched in Anambra and that he stood a good chance to win the general election next year.

“All of us who contested the ticket are qualified to represent the constituency but only one person can go at a time, so tomorrow can be anybody’s chance.
“If any of them had emerged, I would have worked for their victory, so, I appeal to them to close ranks with me and pursue the bigger goal ahead.
“I appreciate the confidence reposed in me by my people, the massive support was overwhelming and I wouldn’t take it for granted.
“I will be an effective voice in Abuja and ensure my legislative duties align with the programmes and policies of the state, we will not work at cross purposes,” he said.
Dike who is the President-General of Oraifite Community and chairman of Anambra State Town Unions Council, commended Gov. Chukwuma Soludo for engendering an effective fourth tier system making communities leaders to be part of government.
According to him, fourth tier government is no longer theoretical in the state, it is practical and effective even though there is no legislative act backing it yet.
Dike noted that through fourth tier, communities and government collaborate in budget preparation, project selection and security which makes governance more effective in the state.
