62ND ANNIVERSARY: ZAMFARA SPEAKER FELICITATES NIGERIANS
The Speaker, Zamfara House of Assembly, Alhaji Nasiru Mua’zu Magarya felicitates Nigerians on her 62 independence anniversary.
This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Monday by the Director-General, Press Affairs and Public Relations, Malam Nasiru Biyabiki.
Magarya called on people of the state and Nigerians to support government’s policies and programmes for the development of democracy in the state and the country in general.
According to him, Zamfara and Nigeria had witnessed various developmental projects in all parts of the state despite the limited resources.
The speaker congratulated the federal and Zamfara governments as well as entire people of the state for witnessing 62th Independence Day Anniversary.
“On behalf of the members and staff of Zamfara State House of Assembly, I extend congratulations to all Nigerians.

“I commend Zamfara government, Security personnel, Paramilitary agencies and the emirate councils for their tireless efforts in taking the state out of security challenges.
“We are grateful that the sixth assembly had left a mark that will be remembered in the history of legislative proceedings in Nigeria especially as they passes bills presented before the lawmakers,” the statement said.
He urged people of the state to compliment government’s efforts by voting for APC in the forthcoming general elections, to bring more dividend of democracy to people at the grassroots levels.
