YULETIDE: EX-ZAMFARA GOVERNOR YARI DONATES 500 BAGS of RICE, 15 COWS TO CHRISTIANS COMMUNITY
The Former Zamfara State Gov, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari has donated 500 bags of rice and 15 cows to Christians communities in the state ahead of 2021 Christmas celebration.
The beneficiaries include Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) 400 bags of rice and 10 cows, Igbo All Progressive Congress (APC) wing, 40 bags of rice and 2 cows.
Other beneficiaries were APC Igbo Community Progressive Forum, 40 bags of rice and 2 cows, while 20 bags of rice and a cow was given to Yoruba APC Wing in the state.
Presenting the items to the beneficiaries in Gusau on Monday, the State Chairman APC Yari’s camp, Alhaji Lawal Liman said the gesture was to assist the Christian community in the state to celebrate the 2021 Christmas in happy mood.

Liman represented by the State Secretary of the party, Alhaji Sani Musa Mafara said the gesture was given to by the former Gov as his annual gesture to Christians Community in the state.
Liman called on the Christians communities in the state to use the period to pray for peace and stability in the state and country at large.
Responding after receiving the gesture on behalf of Christian Community in the state, Rev. Father, Iliya-Ibrahim Tsiga commended the former governor for the gesture.
In their separate remarks, the Chairman Igbo APC Wing in the state, Chief Collins Ofodile, Chairman APC Igbo Community Progressive Forum, Mr Emmanuel Anokwuru and Chairman Yoruba APC Wing, Mr Isiyaka Lawal commended the former governor for considering them.
