Abduction: Zamfara First Lady welcomes release of Jangebe schoolgirls
Zamfara State First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Matawalle has congratulated government and people of Zamfara State over the recent release of 279 abducted students of the Government Girls Secondary School Jangebe who were kidnapped by unknown gunmen last Friday.

VMTNews reports that the First Lady accompanied her husband Gov. Matawalle to receive the released schoolgirls around 4am of Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at government house, Gusau.
Hajiya Aisha Matawalle described the incident as unfortunate and condemable.
“On behalf of my self and my office, I wish to congratulate the My Husband Governor Bello Matawallen-Maradun for his efforts that led to the release of the abducted schoolgirls.
“The release of the kidnapped victims who spent four days in captivity strongly indicated Matawalle’s led administration’s commitments to continue to ensure protection of lives and properties of the citizens.
“I also congratulate parents, guardians and entire people of the state for the release of our children”, She said.
“I ones again congratulate Matawalle for his wonderful performance that led to the happiness to the entire people of the state, Nigeria and the World in general”, She added.
She urged the victims, parents and entire people of the state to consider the incident as an act of God.
“My word to the victims, “you should not discourage because of the sad incident for furthering your education, we are proud of you as leaders of tommorow”.
She appealed to people of the state to continue with prayers for the sustenance of peace and stability in the state.
