The Jigawa State Government has unveiled a significant healthcare initiative aimed at providing free medical treatment, including kidney dialysis, to residents across the state. In a recent briefing, Dr. Abdullahi Kainuwa, the State’s Commissioner for Health, announced that the government has approved the establishment of dialysis centres at five key health facilities. Specifically, the centres will be located at Dutse and Ringim General Hospitals, with advanced stages of installation for dialysis machines and other equipment at Hadejia, Kazaure, and Gumel General Hospitals. The renovations include health facilities that have not seen significant upgrades since their construction in the 1970s.
Free Health Insurance Enrollment
