The Executive Secretary of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETfund), Arc. Sonny Echono, received the African Leadership Excellence Award in Educational Development from the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, HE Philip Davis in London, UK a few days ago.
The award ceremony was a highlight of the 9th African Leadership Magazine Summit held in London from July 17 to 18, 2024. This year’s summit, themed “Africa Unleashed: Business and Policy Leaders Driving Progress on the Continent,” brought together a diverse group of policymakers, business leaders, diplomats, and thought leaders. It served as a platform to explore pathways for sustainable socio-economic development in Africa.

In his keynote address, titled “Education and Entrepreneurship Linkages: Africa’s Pathway to Unleashing Its Greatness,” Arc.
