Nasarawa Govt. committed to opening rural roads
The Nasarawa State Government has reiterated its commitment to opening rural roads across the state.
Dr Labaran Magaji, the Secretary to the Government of the state, stated when residents of Umaisha visited him on Friday in Lafia.
He said that this was aimed at connecting rural communities, improve agricultural activities, boost revenue and improve on the standard of living of the rural dwellers.
He said that Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration had constructed rural roads, and would to continue to open rural areas for grassroots development.
Magaji, who appreciated the community for the visit, assured them of his commitment to provide inclusive leadership while discharging his duties.
He called on them and other citizens of the state to continue to live in unity and peace to attract development to the area.

” The importance of unity and peace cannot not be overemphasised
” I want to call on you and other people to continue to live in unity and peace for the overall development of Umaisha, Toto and the state at large,” he said.
He assured of state government’s desire to develop rural areas and improve connectivity in the state.
Earlier, Prof. Ibrahim Haruna of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, leader of the delegation, said that the visit was to congratulate Magaji on his appointment.
He appreciated Sule for finding Magaji worthy of the appointment.
