Forum hails Tinubu for approving rehabilitation of Keffi–Nasarawa–Toto–Abaji road
Keffi 70s-80s Elites Forum in Nasarawa State, has hailed President Bola Tinubu for the award of contract for the rehabilitation of the Keffi–Nasarawa–Toto–Abaji road.
This is contained in a statement by the forum’s Chairman, Mr Lawal Maizabo, issued to newsmen in Lafia Monday.
The forum said that the award of the contract for the rehabilitation of the road underscored Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural renewal, economic integration and the overall development of the nation.
” The Keffi–Nasarawa–Toto–Abaji corridor remains a major gateway linking Nasarawa State to the Federal Capital Territory and other parts of the country.
“Therefore, its rehabilitation will undoubtedly enhance mobility, trade, commerce and security in the region,” Maizabo said
The forum also appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule, for his tireless and strategic engagement in ensuring the success of the project.
” His persistent advocacy and constructive collaboration with the Presidency and relevant federal authorities played a vital role in securing the Federal Government’s approval for the award of contract of the project.
” Our sincere gratitude equally goes to the Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi, for his prompt mobilisation of personnel and machinery towards the inspection and early commencement of the rehabilitation works on the road.

” His proactive leadership and commitment to quality delivery have rekindled public confidence in government’s infrastructural initiatives on roads’ projects,” the forum said.
The chairman also recognised the outstanding efforts of Sen. Ahmed Aliyu-Wadada (APC- Nasarawa West) whose consistent follow-ups, advocacy and coordination at various levels of government were instrumental in achieving this great milestone.
Maizabo said that the forum remained confident that with the continued collaboration among these visionary leaders, the rehabilitation of the road would be executed to the highest standard.
“It will be completed within schedule, thereby fulfilling the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration,” he said.
