Tambuwal Warns MDAs Against Rejecting Corp Members
Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State on Monday to warned Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the State Against Rejecting National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Members posted to their establishment.
Tambuwal gave the warning at the closing ceremony of 2021 Batch A stream 2 NYSC orientation exercise at Wamakko permanent orientation camp of the state .
He noted that government frowns on such attitude that cause unnecessary inconvenience and hardship to Corp members.

Represented by the NYSC State coordinator Mr Phillip Enatonme Enaberue Tambuwal reiterated that the major objective of NYSC is to Foster unity and integration among the diverse nationality of Nigeria through the yourhs.
He assured that the government would continue to provide enabling environment for them to discharge their responsibilities.
“This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth of the state and nation at large ” he said adding that their performance can earn them special recognition and awards at the local, state and national level.
Tambuwal urged them to beware of some vices such as drug abuse, cultism and the banditry.
The Governor also said that provision of welfare is awaiting them in their place of primary assignment if they faithfully accept their posting irrespective of the area.
On his part the State Coordinator Mr Philip Enatonme Enaberue commended the Corp members for their discipline and commitment they exhibit throughout the orientation exercise and urged them to take the good conduct to their place of primary assignment.
The Coordinator appreciate Governor Tambuwal , the Chairman Wamakko local government area Alhaji Bello Haliri Gwuiwa as well as military, other security agencies and well meaning Nigerians for their support during the orientation exercise.
No fewer than 1414 corps members comprising 714 males and 700 females took part in the orientation exercise.
