FUEP opens bid for 2 TETFund projects
The Federal University of Education, Pankshin (FUEP), in Plateau, on Thursday opened bids for two major projects under the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).
Speaking at the event, Prof. Noel Wannang, the Vice Chancellor (VC) of the university, thanked TETFund for the intervention.
Wannang said that the two projects include a modern lecture hall and the supply and installation of modern equipment in the hall.
He said that the bid opening aimed at ensuring accountability and transparency in the implementation of the projects.

“The contractors will pass through the process of transparency, accountability and, most importantly, due process,” he said.
The vice chancellor called on the successful contractors to deliver the projects within specifications.
Also speaking , Mr Christopher Gamde, the Director of Procurement of the institution, said that the projects fall under the 2026 TETFund intervention.
He said that nine contractors had bidded for the two projects.
