City Boy Movement Nigeria has inaugurated its North-east Grand Empowerment Programme to support youths and vulnerable people across the region.

According to him, the initiative will create opportunities for beneficiaries to establish businesses, improve their livelihoods and contribute to the socio-economic development of their communities.

Shettima said the movement would continue to identify and support youths and vulnerable members of communities who required assistance to become economically independent.

He described the flag-off as another milestone in the movement’s efforts to positively impact lives through empowerment and community development initiatives.

Items distributed to beneficiaries included tricycles, mini-solar-power systems, computers, freezers and Point-of-Sale (POS) machines.

Other beneficiaries received 100 Solar generators, 100 sewing machines, 100, wheelchairs, 500 deep freezers, and cash support to enable them to establish or expand their businesses.

Shetima urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items and resources provided to them to achieve the objectives of the programme.
