Sokoto Agog As Over 40,000 Youths Stage Solidarity Rally For ADC Governorship Candidate

Over 40,000 youths from Sokoto North and Kware local government areas of Sokoto state have staged massive solidarity rallies to declare their support for the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Hon. Muhammad Manir Dan’Iya.
The youths, who confirmed that their show of support for the ADC governorship candidate, Manir Dan’Iya was not driven by any gain, added that, the turn out in the rally was out of pure love and believe in his ability to deliver creditably if elected come 2027.
Responding to the rallies, the Sokoto ADC Governorship Candidate, Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan’iya, expressed profound appreciation to the youths, women, elders and supporters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Sokoto North Local and Kware Local Government Areas respectively for staging massive solidarity rallies in support of his 2027 governorship candidature.
Hon. Dan’iya through a statement signed by his Media Aide, Aminu Abdullahi thanked the ADC youth leaders and organisers for mobilising about 30,000 youths in Sokoto North and another 10,000 youths in Kware local government area.
While stressing that the solidary marks an unprecedented powerful demonstration of growing confidence in the ADC and its vision for a new direction in Sokoto State, Manir Dan’Iya affirmed that
he was deeply moved by the participation of men, women, young people and elderly citizens who voluntarily came out to identify with his candidature and the ADC movement.
According to Dan’Iya “the scale of the mobilisation was particularly significant because the gubernatorial campaign is only beginning, yet citizens have already taken the initiative to publicly express their desire for political change.

“I am humbled and encouraged by this extraordinary show of support. The people came out on their own, and that tells us that something is changing in the political consciousness of Sokoto,”
Dan’iya who said the rallies has clearly demonstrated that
young people are no longer prepared to remain passive participants in the political process, added that, the growing involvement of youths in the ADC reflects a desire for a political platform capable of responding to the economic hardship, insecurity, unemployment and declining opportunities confronting Nigerians.
“ADC is emerging as a platform through which Nigerians can express their desire for a new political direction and a government that puts the welfare of ordinary citizens first,” Dan’iya said.
Giving his promises, Manir Dan’Iya said
the energy demonstrated by the participants would further strengthen his commitment to making security, employment, education, entrepreneurship, healthcare, water supply and economic development central pillars to his campaign.
The ADC 2027 governorship candidate, Manir further appealed to those who participated in the massive rallies to take the message of peaceful political participation to their families, communities and wards across the 23 local government even as he urged them to remain united irrespective of political, ethnic or social differences.
