MATAWALLE INAUGURATES N200m ROAD PROJECT, DONATES AMBULANCE TO FMC GUSAU
Gov. Bello Matawalle of Zamfara, on Monday inaugurated N200 million ring road constituency project at Federal Medical Center (FMC), Gusau and donated an ambulance to the hospital.
The ring road project in the hospital was executed by Sen. Hassan Nasiha, representing Zamfara Central, as part of his constituency projects.
Matawalle commended Nasiha for executing the project saying it would improve health care delivery in the state.
“I appreciate Senator Nasiha for this giant work, I recalled in 2019 when the Senator initiated this hospital, because I gave my support for the take off of the project.

“Alhamdulillah, today another achievement is also recorded, as we gathered here for the inauguration of the road network in this center as part of his constituency projects.
“I am greatly commending Senator Hassan Nasiha for this project, I am calling on you to do more in promoting socio economic development of our dear state,” he said.
Matawalle urged other federal lawmakers in the state to emulate the Nasiha on facilitating infrastructural development in their constituencies.
The gov promised to improve infrastructure and facilities of the hospital.
In his remark, the Minister of State for Health, Sen. Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamora commended Nasiha for executing the project.
Mamora, represented by the Medical Director, Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital Kware, Dr Shehu Sale, said that the project is inline with the federal government’s policy to improve health care delivery in the states.
“This is one of the ways by which the Nigerian National Assembly is responding to the yearnings and aspirations of their constituents with the infrastructural development, hence complementing the agenda of President Muhammad Buhari.
“This is when members identify the needs of their constituents and make recommendations during budgeting process.
“Constituency projects are simply projects that are conceptualized and executed on behalf legislators in their various constituencies for the benefit of their electorate which were carefully selected and appropriated in to the budgetary process, “the Minister said.
“I wish to thank Governor Matawalle and his entire cabinet members and royal fathers for the various laudable people’s oriented policies and programmes being witnessed within the state.
“No doubt this effort will complement the effort of the federal government towards effective health care delivery system,” Mamora said.
The Minister commended the Governing Board and Management team of the hospital for ensuring the project was completed.
“I also wish to praise the staff of this center for their hard work and diligence in an effort to provide quality health care services to the populace,” he said.
In his remark, Sen. Hassan Nasiha said he facilitate the project inline with his campaign promises to promote health care delivery of his people.
Earlier, the Medical Director of the Center, Dr Bello Kwatarkwashi, thanked Nasiha for executing the project.
Kwatarkwashi appealed to Zamfara government for support to improve the infrastructure and facilities of the hospital.
