Presenting the items on Friday in Jos, Prof. Mathew Sule, Chairman of the board said the items were part of the two per cent matching grant released for SUBEB offices across the nation for 2018 and 2019.
He added that the facilities were basically for continuous quality assurance activities and that they would enable officials access schools in difficult terrains.
Sule said the items would go a long way in improving the quality of education in the state.

“So these motorcycles will go a long way in giving access to our monitors and supervisors to monitor all the schools in the remotest communities.
“Many of our schools are domiciled in the rural areas, so this is to meet the yearnings of the rural communities that no child walks more than three kilometres to school and back in view of insecurity and exhaustion,” he said
The chairman, however, admonished recipients to be responsible in the usage and maintenance of the items so as to ensure maximum utilisation.
On her part, the State Commissioner for Education, Mrs Elizabeth Wapmuk, represented by Mrs Rose Lankwap, Director Science and Technology of the ministry, said the items would guarantee efficient education in the state.
“We feel very happy that efforts are being made towards monitoring; education cannot be effective without monitoring and inspection.
“The items were procured to ensure enhanced and effective teaching and learning of the young ones.
“Our children and teachers will be better because everybody is equipped to see that the aim of education is being achieved,” Wapmuk said
Earlier, Mrs Janet Pede, Director Quality Assurance, SUBEB, said that the items would solve logistic challenges being faced during monitoring and mentoring at the state and local government levels.
She added that it would also facilitate report writing thereby improving quality of basic education service delivery in the state.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mr Loyi John, thanked the board for the items and promised to make the best use of them in ensuring that the pupils get quality education
