State Of The Nation: PDP Insist On Good Governance

The People’s Democratic Party says Nigeria is not on the path it ought to be in the six years of the All Progressives Congress.

The Party which is re-strategising ahead of the 2023 polls in Nigeria, has set up committees under its “RESCUE NIGERIA programme.

The committee in charge of repositioning PDP towards 2023 has Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, Oluseyi Makinde of Oyo and Douye Diri of Bayelsa.

At its meeting in Abuja on Tuesday attended by Governors Fintiri and Makinde, they lamented how APC has failed to take Nigeria on the path of progress after PDP had put the nation on sound footing.

The committee noted that it is time to rescue Nigeria from its doldrums, because APC has derailed.

The meeting agreed that the Party needs to be repositioned to retake power in 2023 and until that is done nothing will ever be effective.

According to them, PDP is set to return the country to its years of glory because the progress is not where it ough to be.

The Governors regretted that Nigeria has never been this fractured where insecurity, poverty, rising debt and school kidnapping Combine to inflict sufferings on the people, while the economy is at its lowest ebb.

The PDP Governors described as unfortunate that Nigerians have continued to struggle for survival in a country endowed by God.
