Buhari’s organisation distributes bags of rice to 1,200 vulnerable people in Kebbi

The Buhari’s For All Organisation (BUFAO) has distributed bags of rice to 1,200 people drawn from Joint National Association of Persons Living with Disabilities and religious groups in Kebbi.

While briefing newsmen after the distribution of the items to various organization, the Former Deputy Governor of the state, Alhaji Bello Dantani, who is the State Coordinator of the organization, said that the gesture was to assist the less- privileged people in the society.

“The exercise is just in continuation of the distribution of 30 trucks of grains off-loaded by the organization.

“Today,1,200 people are going home with bags of rice as an assistance to the less- privileged in our society,” he said.

Dantani urged the beneficiaries to continue to pray for the unity of the country and administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to succeed.

The coordinator also urged the beneficiaries to use the gesture judiciously in oder to cushion the effect of some hardships they faced during the Ramadan period.

In his remark, the National Vice President of Joint National Association of Persons with Disability, Mallam Abdullahi Aliyu, commended the organization for the gesture, saying that the gesture would cushion the effects of economy hardship on them.

Also speaking, the Public Relations Officer of Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) in the state, Malam Anas Abubakar, also commended the Buhari’s organization for distributing bags of rice to the less- privileged during the Ramadan period.
