“The enumeration and demarcation is an exercise that is always carried out by the NPC ahead of any population census.
“Though, we have good records in the previous census in the two affected LGAs but we are still”, he said.
According to him the visit is to sensitise stakeholders on the importance of the exercise.
He said advantages of EAD exercise is not limited to population census only, infact “we are partnering with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)”.
“Therefore the data of this exercise may be connected to various vital statistics for national development.
“I am therefore using this medium to call on residents of the state to take the exercise with all seriousness considering it’s importance for future development”, he explained.
The Emir of Tsafe, Alhaji Muhammadu Bawa commended the NPC management for the visit.
