China appoints CPIC as designated insurance service provider
China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co. Ltd. (CPIC) recently signed a global partner cooperation agreement with Beijing Capital Group Exhibitions and Events, officially becoming one of the global partners and designated insurance service providers of the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported last Friday.
CPIC has been the designated insurance service provider for the two international exhibitions including the China International Import Expo (CIIE) and CIFTIS for two consecutive years.

Focusing on services, CPIC would start from docking with exhibitors and government departments, provide full-process and comprehensive services covering trade financing, transportation, customs declaration, warehousing and after-sales.
According to CPIC, the company will continue to develop and innovate insurance mechanisms and tools, actively explore product innovations in emerging areas such as cyber security, carbon neutrality, intellectual property rights, intelligent networking, medical and healthcare.
At the same time, according to the different needs of local governments and enterprises, CPIC would design personalised solutions to help create and protect the local trade and exhibition industry ecosystem.
During the 2021 CIFTIS, CPIC would hold series of seminars on the themes including green finance, aerospace, cyber security and copyright protection in order to better serve the trade fair and national strategy.
