Court sentences 2 to 1 day community service for breach of peace
An Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun, on Monday sentenced two men, Isa Ajibose (25) and Emmanuel Lawrence (22) to one day community service for blocking the road and demanding money from the public.
In her ruling, the Magistrate, Mrs O. O. Fadairo, sentenced the two convicts to one day community service without any option of fine.
The convicts, whose address were not provided had earlier pleaded guilty to the charge of breach of peace and obstructing traffic.

Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp E. O. Adaraloye told the court that the convicts committed the offences on Jan.31, at about 9.30 p.m. at toll-gate area,Ota.
Adaraloye said that the convicts conducted themselves in manner likely to cause breach of peace blocking the road and demanding money from the public.
The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 234 and 406 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
